Thank you for visiting INTERTWINED!

As you follow along each week, you’ll learn some specifics about me and an embarrassing story or two. But this is me in a nutshell. I’m an over-the-hill, out-of-shape, working mom with a passion for words. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s been my home since 1989. My husband and I have been married for 27 years and we have two amazing boys, ages 15 and 13.

 I have a knack for re-organizing things and making inedible food. I’m known for humming tunes without realizing it, twirling my hair, and laughing at my own jokes. I love Eeyore and Wonder Woman – often I’m acting like one or the other. I scare easily, am a picky eater, and I make a lot of mistakes. I love the outdoors, and I’ll pick mountains over oceans any day.

I will do my best to make you laugh, cry, and think. They are my favorite things about being  human. I hope you find some comfort in this place. Life is full of struggles and imperfections, but when we do life together with God and each other, it is a place of freedom and wonder.

You are here for a reason, and I hope we find out together! God did not intend for you to do life alone: “And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

I’m not perfect, but I am loved perfectly. And so are you.
